At Greater York Dance, ballet is our expertise and the cornerstone of all programs. Students will receive only the finest training from faculty who have specific knowledge of our syllabus, philosophy and legacy. Ballet classes are offered to anyone who wishes to learn from Beginner to Pre-professional. Led by certified teacher and our Ballet Mistress, Lauren Yentzer, the ABT (American Ballet Theatre) Training National Training Curriculum forms the basis of class content and structure. The Artistic Staff also represents a variety of styles, and with this immense base, our students develop their ballet technique to the fullest extent.

We train dancers of all aspirations, and there are classes held multiple days per week for serious students, and all students may choose the number of classes they wish to take based on their personal dance priority whether it be one day/week or more frequent. Advancement is by technical accomplishment, not age. Dancers need to take a placement class to determine their correct level. Corrections are given to assist students in learning how to improve, and we consider them a gift.

Ballet Program Students Are Invited To Perform We offer Variations Classes and Performance Opportunities for all dancers in this division.
