Ms. Dawn grew up in Northern Virginia where she studied and performed with Bryan Clawson’s Power Dance Company. With the Power Dance Company, she traveled to competitions and conventions from Virginia to New York earning awards and learning from professional choreographers. Along with dance, she also participated in co-ed cheerleading and earned All-American for both NCA and ECA. As an All-American cheerleader, she traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii to cheer in the Hula Bowl. A passion for both dance and cheerleading led her to becoming an NFL Cheerleader with the Washington Redskins. Over the last 21 years she has used these life experiences to teach dance, cheer, and gymnastics. Currently Ms. Dawn is a closing professional for Yorktowne Settlement Company, enjoys her volunteer position as the Billet Coordinator for the Skipjacks Ice Hockey team, as well as being a billet parent herself, and adores teaching and sharing her love of dance with the students here at Greater York Dance.
