Daniel Ramirez-Saez

Daniel Ramirez Saez, started his dance training at Academia de Julie Mayoral and trained in the renowned summer intensives Eglevsky Ballet in New York, Point Park College and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. His professional career started at Ponce and during the years he has been part of the following companies: Ballet Teatro Musical de Ponce, Ballet Theatre of Annapolis, Ballet Arizona, Sabor Latino, Ballet Señorial. As of today, Danito is Principal Dancer of Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico and is resident Guest Principal dancer in Mauro Ballet Company. Danito’s repertory includes lead roles in Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Cinderella, Carmina Burana, Swan Lake and many other greats. He has performed as guest artist with the Fountain Ballet in Detroit, Almeda Ballet in California, Misstate Ballet of Greater York Dance in Pennsylvania, Ballet Arts in Tennesse and Ballet Etudes in Miami and in Japan. As part of Sabor Latino, in 2002 he was part of the Chicago Salsa Congress, Festival de Palma Mallorca in Spain, Rome Salsa Congress, Sicilia Salsa Congress and in Puerto Rico he has obtained 3rd place in the National Salsa Competition. In the World Salsa Open, he was awarded Top World Champion.
